here they are on day two. everyone had a good night and we have all put on weight and can toilet very well!!! paws looks really well after her litter she has still good weight on her and apart from having large teats and needing a clean at the backend which will be done tomorrow she is the same old paws.

what a long night and day, i havent slept yet but wanted to update the blog so you can all see the babies. paws had 15 pups, we sadly lost 3 a girl and 2 boys and have 12 very healthy and chunky munsters here with a brilliant mum. we have 11 boys and 1 bitch. we had intented to keep a girl to keep paws line going and will have to see how this cutie develops over the weeks but at the moment she is planning to stay here. the 11 boys are lovely and great weights and size. all got vet checked today and all are extremely healthy lively pups. we are so pround of paws and the gang. i have emailed all the people we had on our puppy list explaining the situation and look forward to hearing from you all in your own time when you hae discussed what you would like to do. well enough of me going on here are the babies.

not long now

less than a week till Paws pups should arrive. Thats going by the date of her first mating but no guarantees about that. we are taking her temperature every day to get an average so we know when it starts to drop. Just waiting now!!! Paws is still enjoying her walks and eating ok but looks a bit ful and uncomfy when she lies down now so waddles around a lot.

We have a few booking and queries for Paws pups now and I know you are all watching the blog for news and updates. Paws is back eating well again which is good news as we want as much goodness into her before she has to feed her babies. She seems quite happy and is still enjoying her walks although they are shorter , she is getting more of them. She is always a cuddly dog and very friendly so sitting on our lao is not unusual but i notice she is a bit heavier these days. well Paws is getting big now, she has gone through stages of being picky with her food but we are getting enough goodies into her to keep her going. we have the whelping box set up in the living room which is where pups will be reared so Paws can get used to it and use it if she wants as a bed. She will be getting her feathering clipped from her back legs soon to save her and pups getting too messy during whelping. she is getting wormed everyday now till 2 days after pups are born to reduce the chance of pups being too wormy. She still enjoys her walks andgoes on her own to avoid being bumped into by the others. here is a pic of paws sunbathing this week.
